Val Lanes was built in 1957. What was once a 24 lane bowling center, Val Lanes added 12 more lanes in 1959 to provide more entertainment in the West Des Moines community. Purchased by the Torgerson family (Denny, Colleen, Jon, Tony & Randy) in 2009, bringing with them years of combined bowling industry knowledge and experience, are able to give the continued customer service and entertainment experience Val Lanes has always been known to offer. 2005 brought us new state-of-the-art AUTOMATIC SCORING and AUTOMATED BUMPERS on EVERY lane.
